The purpose of the TMTF Achievement Award Program is
1. To encourage student participation in activities which will enhance a student's musical education.
2. To give each student a goal to strive for and an award which is within his or her ability to attain.
3. To recognize and reward each student that is dedicated in his or her pursuit of a musical education.
This program is open to students of TMTF members only. Students will receive points for participation in TMTF, VMTA and MTNA events, and onlyTMTF, VMTA and MTNA events will qualify for points. One point may be earned for participation in each event, and 15 points are needed to earn the TMTF Achievement Award trophy.
Activities May Include:
Hymn Playing Festival, Master Class, Theory Test, Student Recitals, Keyboard Skills Test, Play-A-Thon, Sight Reading Test, Monster Concert, Levels of Progress, Honors Recitals, Eastern District Auditions, Glover Scholarship Auditions, Honors Recitals Auditions, Glen Mayberry Scholarship Auditions, and many other VMTA and MTNA events.
